Wrap up and get your boots on, let’s go on a muddy walk.

The Sellwood family booked me for a winter woodland family photoshoot back in November that has had to be rescheduled twice due to covid restrictions and then Storm Eunice! Third time lucky and we finally met on a chilly March morning in Ditchling wood just outside Brighton. This is one of my favourite local locations with beautiful backdrops, tumbling down flint walls, huge tall trees and in the spring it looks stunning covered in Bluebells.

The family asked for me to follow them on a walk to get unposed photos and Emilia had great ideas and photo requests that she also wanted to pose for, a model in the making! The wood’s trees gave her some great climbing opportunities, exploring dens and looking for a bear and Gruffalo.

Woodland walk shoots are great to experience a child’s imagination and they often feel relaxed at ease and can capture them enjoying themselves, show their personality, happy smiles and a few jumping action shots.

If you would like to book a family walk photography session, please don’t hesitate to contact me here and we can discuss a bespoke package that meets your needs.

I look forward to hearing from you.
