Kicking off the most wonderful time of the year and celebrating your baby’s first festive season with a Christmas-themed photoshoot! I was delighted to hear from Kupa and Mike who invited me in to their lovely home for a Christmas family photoshoot with Hazen, their utterly adorable 8 month old son. Hazen was a real joy to shoot, busy crawling and pulling himself up and very smiley throughout – he absolutely loved the camera and as you can see the camera definitely loves him! The festive decorations provided the most fabulous backdrop and Hazen was particularly transfixed by the shiny baubles and fairy lights.
A Christmas-themed shoot provides a multitude of prop and outfit options and I particularly like Hazen’s little reindeer headband and Christmas stocking! The brightly coloured decorations really enabled the coloured photos to ‘pop’ but we also took some lovely more sentimental black and white shots to round out the reel. The whole family got in to the festive spirit halfway through in matching plaid pyjamas and I think the gorgeous resulting shots really capture the excitement and delight of the whole family at this special time. It was such a pleasure to spend time with you all, thank you for having me!
